2nd Annual Brunch, Bubbly & Beats: The School Daze Edition

  • Zooz 636 Maine Avenue Southwest Washington, DC, 20024 United States (map)

The Five Star, Captivating Nation’s Capital Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. invites you to join us for our 2nd Annual Brunch, Bubbly & Beats on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Zooz on the Wharf in DC during our chartering anniversary weekend!  For the 2024 Brunch, Bubbly & Beats, a portion of your ticket price will support the Jack and Jill of America Foundation’s HBCU GAP Fund.

Brunch, Bubbly & Beats will take place on Saturday, November 16th from 12 - 4 PM!

Every year, students with only one or two semesters to complete do not graduate due to unmet financial needs – the average amount is $750. The GAP Fund is an intentional measure to graduate more talented Black college students who will become the next generation of thought leaders, policymakers, educators, lawyers, scientists, doctors, and engineers. Meeting our fundraising goal will cover the average outstanding balance for ten graduates; surpassing it will allow us to assist many more. We will do that with your support!

Each ticket includes entry to the event, a full, delicious brunch buffet (including steak and a waffle station), bottomless mimosas (orange, peach, pineapple, apple, mango, and grapefruit juices), music by Will the DJ, photos by Cam's Camera, and a few surprises!

The attire is day party chic. Our theme calls for your HBCU, D9, and especially your JJOA para - it's up to you! Heels and sneakers are welcome!

You don't want to miss this!

If you cannot join us in person but would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the HBCU GAP Fund, you can do so here.  If you want to sponsor Brunch, Bubbly & Beats, you can view packages here and process credit card payments. You can contact Kiara Pesante Haughton at nationscapjj.fr@gmail.com with questions or if you’d like to sponsor via ACH or check.
